Care Label Instructions: Dryclean Only
Problem: This coat is fabricated of a polyester face fabric that is backed with a polyurethane coating. When this garment was drycleaned in perchloroethylene, the coating dissolved, causing the distortion of the shell.
Responsibility: The manufacturer's. The coating became soluble when drycleaned in perchloroethylene. We have no data as to the serviceability of this garment in alternate solvents.
Recommendation: If this coat fails in the recommended care process, it should be returned to the place of purchase for a refund or exchange.
Drycleaner: Advise the customer that this coat may fail when it is drycleaned as instructed by the care label. Because of this, we suggest that a signed release of liability be obtained from the customer prior to its acceptance for processing.
