Care Label Instructions: Machine Wash Cold, Tumble Dry Low, Dry Clean

Problem: This fabric contains spandex. When this shirt was drycleaned as instructed by the care label, relaxation shrinkage took place.

Responsibility: The manufacturer. Fabrics that contain spandex are often unintentionally over-stretched during the weaving process. The fabric returns to its pre-stretched dimensions after it's initial processing. This is known as relaxation shrinkage.

Recommendation: If this shirt shrinks when processed in accordance with its care label nstructions, it should be returned to the place of purchase for a refund or exchange.

Drycleaner/ Wetcleaner: Explain the potential serviceability issues to the customer. Since this garment may prove to be unserviceable, we suggest that a signed release of liability be obtained prior to it's acceptance for processing.
